Palm Springs has a way of slowing time. The warm desert air, sculptural architecture, golden light, and endless mountain views create the perfect backdrop for an editorial inspired by the effortless glamour of the 1970s.
For this shoot, I wanted everything to feel nostalgic yet modern—flowing silhouettes, oversized sunglasses, earthy accessories, soft neutrals, and warm desert tones that blended seamlessly with the landscape. Every outfit was styled to capture the freedom and confidence of the decade while feeling fresh enough for today.

Flowing ivory fabrics, oversized vintage-inspired sunglasses, western boots, woven textures, statement silver jewelry, and a printed headscarf captured the relaxed glamour of the 1970s while complementing Palm Springs’ iconic mid-century architecture.
Every frame was designed to feel effortless—as if stepping into a vintage fashion magazine where warm desert light becomes the best lighting director.
Palm Springs continues to prove why it’s one of my favorite places to create. Between the architecture, the mountains, the endless sunshine, and the slower pace, it offers a kind of creative freedom that’s difficult to find anywhere else.
Sometimes the best editorials aren’t just about the wardrobe or the location—they’re about creating an atmosphere where every detail, from the clothes to the fragrance, tells the same story. And for this desert escape, that story was one of timeless style, warm summer air, and the unmistakable feeling of a perfect Palm Springs afternoon.
